A Different Kind of Bar...
Most Gay visitors to Thailand are familiar with Go Go Bars and Male Host Bars. There are dozens of them in Pattaya.
The Pour House is "a different kind of bar"
While definitely catering to gay clientele (straights are allowed as long as they behave), The Pour House is more like a neighborhood "watering hole" where local expats, Thais and holiday makers can gather for a good conversation, great music from the 60's, 70's & 80's, a game of pool or darts and a cold drink at reasonable prices!
And this without having host boys encouraging you to buy them drinks!
You'll find breaking news or sports on the big 50" TV most nights and when nothing interesting is on the TV, you'll be able to test your knowledge with on screen Trivia. Fresh, free hot popcorn is offered as well as cold moist cloth towels to cool your brow.
Live music is an integral part of the Pour House. We are very lucky to have Khun Pole Panta, a wonderful guitarist & vocalist perform most nights from 7pm - 9pm. If you like the Beatles, the Bee Gees, the Eagles, Elvis Presley and other pop/rock artists of the 60'-80's, you really should stop in and hear him!
Usually a small crowd of locals (dubbed the UN Table for their varied nationalities) arrive during happy hour and trade news, swap stories and information. It's a friendly group and you're welcome to join in.
The Pour House is a great place to bring your "partner" for the evening because it's NOT an "Off Bar". You can relax, enjoy each others company without the "hassle factor".
So welcome to The Pour House....a different kind of bar!
